These are some of the details that we need to take into consideration when quoting a job:
- Size of the rooms
- Number of doors
- Size & style of the doors
- Number of windows
- Size & style of windows
- Height of the ceiling
- Type of cornices
- Skirting sizes
- Condition of the walls
- Is there any water damage
- Do we need to protect the floors
We need to consider the amount of labour involved as well as the materials
What can I expect at an onsite inspection?
An onsite inspection usually takes between 30 – 60 mins. During the appointment we will:
- Measure the areas to be painted
- Inspect the current condition of the surfaces
- Take photos
- Discuss with you what is required
- Give you suggestions
- Take into consideration what colours you want, the number of coats and the finish required
- Discuss the timing of the project
Once we have all the information we need, we will go back to the office and produce a quote. We will send the quote to you via email within 1 – 2 days.
