Every painting project has its unique characteristics. Sure, we can give you a rough quote over the phone. However, to get an accurate estimate of the price we will need to inspect the property.
These are some of the details that we need to take into consideration when quote a job:
- Size of the rooms
- Number of doors
- Size & style of the doors
- Number of windows
- Size & style of windows
- Height of the ceiling
- Type of cornices
- Skirting sizes
- Condition of the walls
- Is there any water damage
- Do we need to protect the floors
We need to consider the amount of labour involved as well as the materials
What can I expect at an onsite inspection?
An onsite inspection usually takes between 30 – 60 mins. During the appointment we will:
- Measure the areas to be painted
- Inspection the current condition of the surfaces
- Take photos
- Discuss with you what is required
- Give you suggestions
- Take into consideration what colours you want, the number of coats and the finish required
- Discuss the timing of the project
Once we have all the information we need, we will go back to the office and produce a quote. We will send the quote to you via email with 1 – 2 days.
